It all started with the work of the American artist Andrew Wyeth. The imagery he created is filled with such an emotional depth that one wonders how this could be achieved.
I felt the urge at attempting a copy of one of his drawings entitled Beckie King. The copy turned into a study as I investigated his pencil work trying to rationalize the artistic choices he made to create this master work. It then became clear to me that drawing is not a mindless activity, there is a lot to it. I joined the Academy of Realist Art in Boston to learn the craft and a few years later started Metro Drawing Studio with one simple notion:
